self explanitory really.......smash the upper class, eat the rich....all that stuff. no gains are made by watching corportate media and voting every 4 years its all about civil disobedience and self education.
Communist manifesto had various aspects that are flat out great ideas. The only reason we had a "red scare" was becuase we believe in democracy and anything else is just wrong (according to the gov.) If you believe half of what was said by the government, take a second to think... The Soviet Union would still be around had they not gotten stupid and greedy and gone into an arms race with us. If we spent that % of our GDP on military then we would have failed too. China reformed and therefore survived.
here in America ("the great") the richest 10% own 80% of all wealth. I would rather be one of 10 in standardized housing than in a mansion with 9 others living in boxes... that's my problem with such diverse classes. The success of one greedy man ensures the failure of others.
Nice piece. Couldn't agree more.
And anyone who says it could never work needs look no further than the Spanish Revolution.
Knowing what we know now about communism. The anarchists would never make the same mistake again.
thanks for the comment and its nice to see that someone out there actually knows a little history and isnt into pollitics just for the confrontational aspect or because of this recent sham of an election.
this might be a shock to you, but Communism and class struggle is a failed ideology. you don't believe me? look at the former Soviet Union. you try telling me that they are better off for 80 plus years of communism. look at china, who are thank god reforming, more or less getting rid of the chains of communism.
whos taking about communism? if were going to talk ideology.....im anti authoritarian. i believe government is government wether its communism or capitalism and all government is force. i think its kinda funny that there are still people alive that still believe that bed time story about the big scary commies comming to get em. i didnt know that wich hunt was still on......
i know the whole quote. i happen to like the second part of it better. -smiles- it's actually the one with more meaning. if we lived forever, how many people would go out and learn? and how many people would put it off until later? with that said, if someone knew they were going to die the next day, what would they do with their one remaining day? wait and do nothing or would they live life to it's fullest?
satisfied with that answer? a longer life dosent not always mean greater wisdom. i am going to try something that might be enjoyable to each of us. instead of this boiling down into silence or petty arguments, let us make use of that which we are given. i'd like to know your reasons for disliking the rich.
actually i have an excellent understanding of how the world works, ive been here about 10 years longer than you. ill tell you what i cant understand though, and that is why you used half the quote. heres the whole thing so it doesnt happen again: "Disce quasi semper victurus; vive quasi cras moriturus (Learn as if you were going to live forever; live as if you were going to die tomorrow). it looses its intended meaning when you use it out of context and chop it up for your own exploitation....and really i cant even understand why you used it....it doesnt even relate to any point brought up here except for maybe mine........
p.s.-you should really consider the first part of that quote because i think it holds a lot of relevence to your situation: study more.....
